Aimable Hakizimana is a medical technologist at Mayo Clinic in Florida. He completed the MSHS Medical Laboratory Science Program in Rochester.

Hakizimana is a native of Rwanda. His family fled the country to escape civil war, and he spent 13 years in a refugee camp in Tanzania. While living in the camp, he graduated from high school, started college, got married, started a family and began working as a hospital lab assistant.
