Emily Bodensteiner Schmitt, OT, receives Mayo Clinic Excellence Through Teamwork award

Emily Bodensteiner Schmitt, OT (PHLB ’12, OT ’16), an occupational therapist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a Mayo Clinic Excellence Through Teamwork award. The award recognizes individuals for exemplary teamwork skills. These team members exemplify the values and excellence for which Mayo Clinic is known, and their efforts go beyond that of normal job responsibilities and obtain outcomes that positively affect the organization.

Bodensteiner Schmitt was part of the Early Mobility and Activity in the ICU team that aimed to reduce the length of stay by one day for patients.
