Jennifer Danos, MCSHS student, receives grant from Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Jennifer Danos (ECHO ’21), a student in the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences Echocardiography Program, participated in the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) Emerging Leaders program and was selected by the SDMS Foundation Board of Directors as the 2020 Emerging Leaders Grant Recipient.
Only one participating student from across the U.S. is selected to receive this grant based on leadership skills and the quality of contributions to the program. The grant includes all expenses paid to attend the SDMS Annual Conference for seven days, including the SDMS Foundation Board of Directors Meeting and Liaison Meeting, tickets to the SDMS awards dinner, and one-year SDMS membership.
Due to the 2020 Annual SDMS Conference converting to a virtual format, Danos will attend virtually in 2020 and in person in 2021.
