Arleen Mazgaj, CRNA (NA ’52)

Mazgaj, Arleen Nancy (nee Kozielecki) of Amherst, NY on September 19, 2022. Beloved daughter of late Ignatius Kozielecki and Ann Zynczak; Devoted wife of 25 years of late Leonard Peter Mazgaj; Cherished mother of David (Jill Leimkuehler) and James (Jamie) Mazgaj; Loving grandmother of Robert, Edward, and Dustin Mazgaj; also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. Arleen was born August 11, 1928 in Lackawanna, NY and graduated Lackawanna High School. She graduated from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and went on to work at Mercy hospital as a nurse anesthetist for 43 years. She served on the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Queen of Heaven Parish. Friends will be received Sunday 3-7 PM at LAKESIDE MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1340 Union Rd. West Seneca, NY 14224 716-674-5776. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday 10:15 AM at Queen of Heaven Church, West Seneca. Please assemble at church.
