Marie Abraham, 95, passed away on June 29, 2017. She was born September 16, 1921 in Cleveland to James and Anna Rieman.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Kenmore. Marie had a strong faith that inspired her family, friends, and many others. She was active in the community, volunteered and ushered at E.J Thomas Hall and was President of the Rolling Acres Mall Walkers Club. Marie was a "woman of her time." Marie was a college-educated woman, served in the U.S. Navy, and worked as a Physical Therapist for the Veterans Administration where she met her husband, Fred.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Fred.
She is survived by her son, John (Michele) Abraham; grandchildren, Emily and Matt; daughter, Peggy (Ralph) Klinger; grandsons, Brett, Brian, and Neil; son, Jim Abraham (Eve).
Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd. on Sunday, July 2, 2017 from 3 to 5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 2101 17th St. SW, Akron on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 1 p.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
