Maximillan Topic, RRT, LRT (RTS ’16)

Maximillan V. Topic, "Max", 25 of Rochester, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at his home.
Max was born May 7, 1993 in Carthage, IL to James Topic and Christine Fagans. He was a graduate of John Marshall High School and went on to RCTC, finishing his bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy at The University of Minnesota, Rochester. He was currently employed at the Pulmonary Function Special Evaluation Lab at The Mayo Clinic. Max loved gaming, watching movies, snowboarding and most recently, long boarding. He was a huge fan of Star Wars, enjoyed working out and had a tender heart toward animals. Max was loving, kind, polite, charming with a great sense of humor and a fantastic smile. He was a hard worker, empathetic to others and very soft spoken. He will be greatly missed.

Max is survived by his mother and stepfather, Christine and Kyle Dick of Rochester; father, James Topic of Nauvoo, IL; stepbrother, Tanner Dick of Rochester; maternal grandmother, Lynn Skinner; paternal grandmother, Marian Topic, and maternal great-grandmother, Miriam Waterman. Max is also survived by his aunts, Jennifer (Cory) Eggler, Mary Topic, Anne Marie Topic; uncles, John and Jeff Topic, and numerous cousins and extended family and friends. Max was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Kenn Fagans, Dan Skinner and Edwin Topic.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service. Memorial contributions will be forwarded to mental health research of the family's choice.
