Awards
The Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences (MCSHS) Alumni Association Recognition of Outstanding Contribution (ROC) is presented annually at the MCSHS Alumni Association annual meeting and honors alumni whose contributions are exceptional in one or more of the following areas:
- Clinical care
- Research
- Mentoring and education
- Humanitarian endeavors
The Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences Alumni Association Champion of Allied Health Award honors individuals who meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Demonstrates serving as a role model, mentor, and leader in their profession, organization, and/or community
- Supports and contributes to interprofessional learning
- Endorses and works toward enhancements of multidisciplinary practice initiatives
- Promotes professional growth, autonomy, and career development through contributions such as continuous education and/or training
- Sponsors and facilitates programs or projects that lead to improvements within the professions of allied health
- Participates in or encourages clinical research among their colleagues to promote allied health
- Creates and fosters a vision for the future of allied health professions
The Champion of Allied Health awardee is chosen by the MCSHSAA Awards Committee.
