Karen Sherk, CNP, is new MSHS Alumni Association president

Karen Sherk, CNP, is the new president of the MSHS Alumni Association. Sherk is a 2007 graduate of the MSHS Nurse Practitioner Clinical Residency Program and is a nurse practitioner in cardiac electrophysiology at Park Nicollet Heart and Vascular Center in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

She completed nursing school at Bethel University in St. Paul and then worked in the Emergency Department and an intensive care unit at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. She received a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, to become a family nurse practitioner.
