Nominate Future Leaders: Join the MCSHSAA Board of Directors
The Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences Alumni Association (MCSHSAA) Board of Directors plays a key role in guiding the association’s programs and activities. It comprises professionals from a variety of health sciences fields and regions and is dedicated to strengthening the alumni community.
Nominations Open Year-Round
The MCSHS Alumni Association’s Nominating Committee welcomes nominations throughout the year. This is a great opportunity for alumni to get involved and make a lasting impact.
Board Member Commitment
Each Board member serves a three-year term and is expected to attend the annual meeting (travel expenses are covered). This is an exciting way to contribute to the association’s growth while connecting with fellow alumni.
Criteria
The Nominating Committee aims to find Board members who:
- Have graduated from a MCSHS program
- Represent a wide range of health sciences professions
- Are geographically diverse
- Hold or have held leadership roles in their health sciences profession
- Are committed to representing alumni interests
- Have an interest in promoting MCSHS and MCSHS Alumni Association
How to Nominate
Whether you’re interested in nominating someone else or yourself, any Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences alumnus or alumna is welcome to submit a nomination for a position on the Executive Committee or as a director. After nominations are reviewed by the Nominating Committee, selected candidates are approved at the MCSHS Alumni Association’s annual meeting, held in the spring.
